Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as Bridgeport milling machines, engine lathes, surface grinders, drill presses, drill jigs, and related tooling.
• Set up, adjust, and operate basic machine tools and specialized variation tools for precision machining.
• Study samples, blueprints, and drawings to determine operations, dimensions and tolerances.
• Use micrometers, calipers, indicators, depth gauges and other tools to inspect components.
• Align and secure fixtures, tools, and materials on machines; select appropriate tools and materials.
• Lay out, measure, and mark metal stock to verify cut placement.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision.
