  • Use computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system.
  • Load, setup, operate Mig welding equipment.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and repair and setup to keep Mig welder running smoothly and reduce downtime.
  • Examine weld during welding process; observe problems with the weld and adjust the speed, voltage, amperage, or feed of the wire or rod.
  • Execute scheduling board.

Welder will clean parts with a chisel, file and grind as needed to meet quality inspection criteria. The Mig weld operator will use specifications to accurately weld parts and metal components and verify product quality by inspection and measuring equipment.
