Job summary

Star Brands - A Division of the Middleby Corporation seeks a Fabrication Welder to fabricate weldments from 12GA to 22GA sheet metal for premium commercial foodservice equipment, focusing on cosmetic quality with MIG and TIG welding.

You will read engineering drawings, assemble weldments, inspect weld quality, and use measuring tools while maintaining safety standards and driving continuous improvement across the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of welding experience.
• Able to read and interpret drawings, specs and BOMs.
• Welding test will be administered to demonstrate safety and technique.
• Excellent communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings to determine materials and tools.
• Assemble and weld steel weldments per specifications.
• Inspect welds against acceptance criteria.
• Use measuring, locating and testing tools.
• Support a safe, healthy workplace and reduce scrap.
• Aim to maximize throughput and drive continuous improvement.
• Willing to work other areas of the production line as needed.
