Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or technical diploma in metrology, QA, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Metrology Technician in manufacturing.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
  • Experienced with metrology equipment and software (CMMs, Calypso, PC-DMIS).
  • Strong calibration principles and understanding of measurement uncertainty.

Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration and verification of measurement tools and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning metrology instruments.
  • Document calibration results and maintain accurate records in calibration management system.
  • Develop and implement calibration procedures and work instructions.
  • Analyze measurement data to identify trends and issues.
  • Support engineering and production teams in resolving measurement-related problems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized metrology laboratory.
