Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Desire to work with machinery and at least 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move and position materials at work site with help of other workers.
• Help lift and position work pieces.
• File, grind, or scrape sharp edges, burrs, scales, or rust from work pieces; smooth welded joints.
• Compare work piece with straightedge or template to verify conformance to specifications.
• Lift, move, clamp, and bolt dies and fixtures on machines.
• Operate sandblasting to clean tank surfaces before painting or coating.
• Sort, mark, or tag finished work; brush or blow dirt from dies.
• Remove workpiece and scrap from machines and clean area after tasks.
