The role requires adherence to safety procedures, accuracy, and the ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions. Responsible for quality, workplace organization, and meeting production schedules while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in metal grinding, fabrication, or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to operate hand and power grinding tools safely.
• Basic knowledge of metal materials and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read basic blueprints or work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding machines, hand grinders, and related tools to grind, deburr, and finish metal parts.
• Remove sharp edges, weld splatter, and excess material from fabricated metal components.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and surface finish.
• Measure components using calipers, gauges, or other measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
• Follow all OSHA, Company safety, and PPE requirements.
• Report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns to supervision immediately.
• Meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement and teamwork initiatives.
