Job summary

Axiom in Northeast Portland is seeking skilled fabricators to join a fast-paced shop environment. You'll toggle between press brake setups, laser cutting, and welding, turning concept drawings into finished parts for commercial and display projects.

You’ll measure, fit, and weld stainless and steel with tight tolerances, sometimes performing on-site measurements for installations. The team emphasizes craftsmanship, problem solving, and dependable, safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to read prints and dimensions with minimal guidance.
• Comfort interpreting concept drawings and measurements.
• Proven accuracy with tight tolerances in fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Operate press brake and laser to form parts per specs.
• Weld, fit, and assemble components with precision.
• Move between materials and tooling as project demands.
• Perform on-site measurements and adjustments when needed.
