Job summary

Mirion Medical in Connecticut seeks an Assembly Operator to assemble, test, and rework large mechanical and electro-mechanical medical tables and components. You will follow detailed work instructions and quality standards to ensure reliable medical devices.

Ideal candidates have ≥5 years in mechanical assembly, can read blueprints, operate measuring tools, and lift up to 49 lbs while maintaining a safe, clean workstation. This role requires English literacy and basic ERP/MRP system familiarity.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow blueprints, diagrams and specs.
• ≥5 years mechanical assembly or related manufacturing experience.
• Read and write in English, follow basic instructions.
• Able to lift up to 49 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and drawings.
• Operate hand and electrical tools, measuring equipment and light machinery.
• Maintain inventory at workstations.
• Inspect items for cosmetic and workmanship quality against drawings.
• Follow quality assurance practices and record defects.
• Rework or repair assembled equipment per engineering changes.
• Adhere to safety procedures and keep work area clean.
• Identify defects and take corrective action as needed.
• Comply with OSHA and workplace safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
