Job summary

Aerotek seeks a Clean Room/Medical Device Assembler to build advanced devices in Irvine, CA, primarily on the first shift from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with potential overtime. You will work with microscopes and small components to ensure high-quality products supporting patient care.

Your role emphasizes strict clean room adherence, precise assembly of PCBA and catheters, and collaboration within a small six-person team. Training on laser welding may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Medical device assembly experience, preferably in clean rooms.
• Experience working in a clean room with guidelines.
• Ability to assemble small components under a microscope with precision.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good hand–eye coordination and dexterity.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble PCBAs and small parts in a clean room following procedures.
• Assemble catheters and medical devices under a microscope for precision.
• Maintain sterile, organized, and safe work area.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings for accurate tasks.
• Inspect finished products visually and under magnification for quality.
• Package devices and components according to procedures.
• Use computers to connect devices via Bluetooth and run tests.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Report defects or process concerns to support continuous improvement.
• Work independently or in a small team on daily assignments.
• Handle glues, epoxies, and other materials safely.
