Job summary

FEUER Powertrain North America, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to service, repair, and overhaul equipment and analyze errors using diagnostic systems. The role supports development of preventive maintenance practices in a safety-focused plant.

You will perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting, implement repairs, and assist in training new staff, with responsibilities expanding to improvements and adherence to maintenance standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic troubleshooting skills of machinery.
• Fundamentals of pneumatics, component repair, and basics of pneumatic control logic.
• Hydraulic fundamentals through motion controls.
• Basic understanding of tools.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Stand for long periods (up to 12 hours) during shift.

Responsibilities

• Analyze errors and failures of equipment with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic components and electrical/electronic systems using diagnostic systems.
• Determine nature and extent of defects and repair damage economically.
• Suggest repairs and re-install repaired equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repair/assembly work.
• Modify plans, drawings, and instructions as needed.
• Determine assembly sequences and arrange procurement of parts.
• Analyze and eliminate flaws and assist in developing solutions.
• Implement measures for efficient maintenance and upkeep.
• Create new systems and extensions according to plans.
• Assist with training new employees as needed.
