Job summary

Harvard Integrations in Tea, SD seeks an assembler to join our production team. You will assemble, install, and adjust component parts on units following drawings and customer specifications, using hand tools and fixtures.

Two shifts are available (Day 6:00-4:30pm and Evening 4:30pm-3:00am). The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working safely in a manufacturing environment. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience may be acceptable.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in enclosed spaces and on ladders at heights.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings or customer specifications to determine position of unit components.
• Position components and install fixtures.
• Inspect products to verify changes meet customer specifications.
• Clean dust and dirt off panels and components.
• Gather supplies and tools needed to complete jobs.
• Drill and tap holes to install floor plates and thresholds.
• Grind knots off floor and panels prior to painting.
• Complete work per schedule and document traveler details.
• Verify correct paint colors per drawings and specs.
• Assemble units and test performance using gauges and test devices.
• May install windows, door panes, handles, drains or accessories.
• Clean work area and store tools properly each day.
• Work safely and perform additional duties as requested.
