Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of mechanical assembly, machine building, or related experience.
• Read and interpret complex drawings/blueprints, and use precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, instructions and specifications.
• Plan assembly tasks in proper sequence and assemble sections of machinery per customer specs.
• Perform precision mechanical assembly involving shafts, gear trains, sprockets and structures.
• Use hand and power tools for assembly and alignment.
• Use precision measuring instruments to align, level, and ensure accuracy.
• Work to tight tolerances for square, parallelism and concentricity.
• Identify and report defective material or unusual conditions.
• Complete documentation to meet quality and production requirements.
• Engage in team meetings to resolve production, quality, or cost issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and adapt to changing priorities.
