This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 150 pounds, and adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines as you work with various meat cuts and equipment in a fast-paced retail environment. Training will occur at store level to learn tools, pricing, and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Operate tools including power tools such as saws, grinders, sealer, and wrapper machines
• Clean meat equipment and work areas
• Cut and prepare all cuts of meat including blocks of beef, pork, lamb & veal
• Grind meat
• Cube steaks and patty steaks
• Prepare product for the service meat case
• Stock and rotate product in meat cases and coolers
• Read shelf tags and follow pricing
• Maintain proper temperature controls for coolers and freezers
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
• At closing, pull product from service meat case for storage
