Responsibilities

• Stocks and rotates meat items to maintain freshness.
• Greets customers within proximity to ensure service.
• Maintains cleanliness in the work area and tools.
• Completes tasks as assigned by the Meat Manager.

Skills

Previous experience working with the public

Able to pass a Journeyman cutting test

Knowledge of when to pull meat if it does not meet standards

Working knowledge of different seafood types and cuts of meats

Able to work with knives, grinder, slicer

Able to manage time well

Able to make suggestions to customers
