Job summary

Specialty Coating Systems, Inc. is seeking a Masker II to prepare substrates for Parylene coating in a controlled environment in Wisconsin. The candidate will mask and demask parts, inspect finished work, and ensure quality and safety standards are met on a full-time, on-site basis.

Responsibilities include following MSPs, performing basic cleaning and handling, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of masker experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must clearly speak, read and write English.
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to communicate uncomplicated data, instructions, production results and quality issues.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Ability to work in a seated position for extended periods of time.
• High degree of manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for precision masking/demasking.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow designated processes and MSPs.
• Perform masking/demasking and inspection using small hand and power tools and microscope.
• May perform cleaning/preparation of customer product for masking/coating.
• Inspect own work for quality compliance.
• May fixturing/defixturing of parts and assemblies.
• Maintain clean room environment and PPE as required.
• Adhere to safety policies and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
