Job summary
Metal Craft Machine & Engineering in Elk River, MN seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to optimize processes, improve quality, and boost productivity. You will implement lean manufacturing, develop manufacturing plans, and drive continuous improvement across production.
Qualifications include 2–5 years in manufacturing, an associate degree in a related field, and preferred engineering degree. Experience with CAD and ERP tools is valued.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in machine tool or manufacturing technology or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or manufacturing engineering preferred.
- 2–5 years manufacturing experience; medical or aerospace/defense experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cost effective manufacturing processes and procedures from customer drawings, specifications and part models.
- Assist other departments with manufacturability and provide ongoing technical project support.
- Develop estimates to minimize cost and lead time while maintaining quality.
- Coordinate project activities including MRB, RCA, operations, quality and process issues.
- Create process drawings and documentation that comply with industry and customer requirements.
