Job summary

Globus Medical in West Carrollton, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting on non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment in the manufacturing process. You will handle preventive maintenance, machine repairs, and calibration tasks in compliance with OSHA and company policies.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, electronics, mechanical systems, and the ability to work with outside vendors when needed.

Qualifications

• Requires 1–2 years of related maintenance experience.
• General knowledge of industrial electronics and controls including relay logic and machine control circuits.
• Ability to operate a forklift and obtain forklift license.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance processes and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Move, set up and level machines.
• Perform equipment preventive maintenance daily.
• Ensure machines are lubricated and operational; install guards as needed.
• Troubleshoots mechanical/electrical malfunctions; coordinate with outside vendors when needed.
• Utilizes maintenance equipment (CNC mills, lathes, saws, grinders) to perform duties.
• Creates and coordinates change orders to support PM and calibration systems.
