Job summary

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and evaluate manufacturing techniques that support production improvements with measurable ROI.
• Justify equipment or technologies for improvements with 18-month ROI targets.
• Assist in selecting, purchasing, and installing new multi-million-dollar equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Promote ergonomic strategies for safe, employee-friendly work environment.
• Design test stands and fixtures for manufacturing of new products; specify machines and processes.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation of tool drawings, fixtures, gaging, and shop concepts.
• Work with suppliers to develop manufacturing processes meeting product standards.
