Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a Manual Machinist to produce high-accuracy components. You will set up and operate manual lathes and mills, interpret blueprints, and follow detailed work instructions in a regulated environment.

You will perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools, document results, and contribute to continuous improvement while collaborating with engineering and quality teams to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and spec sheets.
• Hands-on experience operating manual lathes and milling machines.
• Ability to perform in-process inspections with precision tools and record results.
• Familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes and mills to fabricate components to tight tolerances.
• Interpret blueprints and work instructions; select appropriate tooling and feeds/ speeds.
• Perform in-process inspections and document results using precision measurement tools.
