Gratz Pilates, LLC. is seeking a dedicated Manual Machinist to join the PM team in the Metal Shop, producing high-quality Pilates equipment components. You will use manual mills and lathes, read engineering blueprints, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances with precise measurement tools.

The role emphasizes meticulous setup, tool selection, and collaboration with assembly teams, while maintaining safety and cleanliness in a metal shop environment.

Formación

• Minimum of 1 year of manual machinist experience focused on mill and lathe operations.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with components for furniture or equipment manufacturing is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Independently set up and operate manual mills, drill presses, and lathes to produce precision parts for Pilates equipment.
• Select tooling and fixtures, align workpieces, and maintain production flow.
• Machine parts from ferrous and non-ferrous metals to engineering blueprints.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Read complex blueprints and plan machining sequences; perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot.
