Mural Group, partnering with a marine services company, is seeking 2–4 contracted Manual Machinists in Cleveland, OH. The role involves operating manual lathes, mills, grinders and drill presses to fabricate and repair pumps, gearboxes and rotating equipment.

Candidates should have 2+ years of hands-on manual machining, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work independently with tight tolerances. A $1,500 sign-on and relocation assistance are available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on manual machining experience
• Ability to read blueprints and operate manual lathes of various sizes independently
• Motor shop, machine shop, tool and die, or oil field equipment experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Operate manual engine lathes, horizontal lathes, mills, grinders and drill presses daily
• Machine and fabricate parts; read prints for fabricated parts when needed
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble rotating machinery and prep for shipment
• Perform mechanical rebuilds on rotating equipment including shafts, pumps and fans
• Maintain tight tolerances to +/- .001 inch and use cranes and rigging safely
