Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Machinist Level 2 to operate and maintain machine tools, producing precision metal parts. You’ll read blueprints, inspect parts, and ensure quality while meeting production schedules.

The role reports to the Machine Shop Manager and is on-site at our Phoenix location. We value experience in tube processing, strong safety focus, and teamwork to adapt to changing production priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven machinist experience with tube processes and equipment operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specs accurately.
• Familiar with tube prep/clean, prep and cut, pressure testing, swage/flare and part marking.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain lathes, milling machines and grinders to produce precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
• Perform quality checks and inspections to meet tolerances and standards.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance for optimal performance.
• Follow safety guidelines and keep work area clean and organized.
