Job summary

Tenneco Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to ensure quality and efficient production in our Wisconsin facility. You will engage in training to meet customer requirements and company standards while operating precision equipment.

Level 2 duties include setup of multiple cells, tooling selection for machine setups, troubleshooting, and completing training assessments. Overtime may be required, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Level 1: Create a quality product and participate in training to ensure customer requirements and Tenneco standards are met.
• Read routers and production schedules to understand product specifications and record information for inspection.
• Monitors product quality using inspection equipment and verifies settings/parameters per specifications.
• Operate VSI lathes, VG lathes, gundrills, and hydromats; manage tool inserts and setup.
• Follow safety policies; overtime may be required.
• Level 2: Set up and monitor all four cells; select tooling for machine set ups and adjust speeds/feeds; perform maintenance; complete Level 2 training and trainer qualifications.
