Signify in Littlestown, PA is seeking a Machine Shop Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate a drill press, perform grinding, set up jigs, and assist with light assembly while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a drill press and performing grinding operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints.
• Basic hand tool usage with pneumatic tools.
• Knowledge of proper use of basic measuring tools (tape measure, protractor, calipers).
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to physically move materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate Drill Press following all safety measures
• Perform grinding on parts both manually and with machines
• Handle light assembly when needed
• Perform small saw operation
• Set up jigs for operations
• Perform in-process inspection of parts to ensure they meet blueprint requirements
