Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent vocational training.
• Two years in vocational training or machine shop experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of metal cutting feeds and speeds, threading terminology, and sine bar angles.
• Able to read blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions for work sequencing.
• Understand grinding principles and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow the General Manager or designee's directions.
• Adhere to Environmental, Health & Safety rules and 6S standards.
• Work with close tolerances in drilling, boring, reaming and milling.
• Maintain safety equipment and comply with safety regulations.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions as required.
• Contribute to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 compliance.
• Attend work as scheduled and perform other duties as directed.
