Job summary

Hyperion Solutions is seeking a Machine Operator for our Richmond, IN location to support the Elevator Equipment Corporation brand. You will be responsible for setup, operation, and inspection of manufacturing equipment to ensure parts meet specifications and production targets.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of warehouse experience, ability to read a tape measure and micrometers, and a commitment to safety and quality. We offer competitive pay and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Ability to read O.D. and I.D. mics preferred.
• Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for up to 8 hours per day.
• Prompt and regular attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements; select tools, tool holders, and fixtures and install them.
• Operate machines to perform turning, facing, threading, drilling, and boring; follow instructions for each operation.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and promptly notify supervisor of faulty equipment or materials.
• Follow safety policies; wear PPE and suggest improvements to procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
