Meyer Utility Structures, a subsidiary of Arcosa, Inc., is hiring a Control Process Operator at our Gadsden, AL plant. You will set up and operate machines, read blueprints, verify dimensions, and move materials using cranes and forklifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year operating break press, plasma table, or drill press, ideally breaking and/or cutting steel up to 2" thick.
• Able to read blueprints and verify dimensional requirements.
• Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Must be reliable with attendance and able to stand, climb on/off equipment, and lift >50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate break press, plasma table, drill press, and related machinery.
• Form/cut materials to designated shapes and sizes.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials safely.
• Troubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments.
• Make quality and tolerance decisions; follow all safety rules and practices.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.
