Job summary

STS Technical Services in Waukesha, WI seeks a Machine Operator to support production in a temperature-controlled environment. You will operate production machinery, follow prints, and meet daily production rates.

The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math. You will collaborate with area leadership, quality, and material handling to keep lines supplied and issues resolved quickly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Willingness to learn production equipment and procedures.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery according to prints and specifications.
• Produce the required quantity of parts within established tolerances.
• Meet established job rates.
• Track job rates and indirect time.
• Notify Area Lead of tooling requirements and maintenance needs.
• Report nonconforming materials to the Area Lead.
• Perform required quality checks and maintain a clean work area.
• Suggest improvements to production processes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
