SurfacePrep is seeking a dependable Machine Operator to join our Orchard Park, NY manufacturing team. You will set up and operate cutting and punching equipment, measure materials for accuracy, and help meet daily production goals in a hands-on role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read work orders and use a tape measure accurately.
• Basic math and ruler-measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Prior machine-operation or manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare machinery for automatic cutting or hole-punching operations.
• Measure product length and width using a tape measure.
• Operate machine controls to produce the required quantity of product.
• Monitor work for accuracy and quality throughout the production process.
• Work toward established daily production goals while maintaining quality and safety.
• Read and follow work orders, safety requirements, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Support other production activities as assigned.
