UFP Industries is seeking a Machine Operator I to set up and run production equipment in accordance with established procedures. The role requires maintaining materials and supplies and ensuring efficient operation on the line.

The candidate will perform equipment inspections, keep a clean work area, and help maintain safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. High school diploma or GED is preferred, with at least 6 months manufacturing experience.

Formación

• 6 months of manufacturing/assembling experience or more.
• Basic math knowledge and ability to perform basic calculations.
• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate production machinery in accordance with procedures.
• Feed and run the machine safely and efficiently.
• Stack and label components/finished products as required.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized; ensure equipment is safe to operate.
• Complete pre-shift startup inspection checklists and report issues.
• Maintain production records as required.
• Inspect materials and finished products for standards compliance.
• Follow safety and quality procedures and participate in safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
