Job summary

TSG Resolute in Americus, GA is seeking a dependable Machine Operator to run and monitor press machines, mold machines, and band saws on a daily basis. You will set up equipment, verify dimensions with micrometers, and perform routine maintenance to keep the line moving smoothly.

You must read blueprints, follow safety procedures, work with overhead cranes and clamp trucks, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts while meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating press and mold machines.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use micrometers.
• Knowledge of safety protocols in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor press machines, mold machines, band saws, and other production machinery to meet daily production goals.
• Set up and adjust machines according to specifications, using tools such as micrometers to ensure precision.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards.
• Handle materials safely using overhead cranes and clamp trucks to load and unload machinery.
• Conduct deburring and other finishing processes to ensure product quality before moving items along the assembly line.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and support continuous improvement initiatives.
