Job summary

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, verify material type and dimensions, perform quality checks with measuring tools, and maintain tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• AA or 6 months to 1 year related experience or training.
• Experience operating industrial machinery and machine setup for production.
• Ability to read and use blueprints/schematics.
• Competence using measuring tools (tape, caliper, micrometer) to verify dimensions.
• Forklift operation experience and safe operation of forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate saw, drill, iron worker, plasma table, or shear following safety guidelines.
• Verify materials type and dimensions before cutting or drilling.
• Use work orders and QC packets to ensure work accuracy and quality.
• Read, interpret, and use blueprints to meet specifications.
• Perform quality checks with measuring tools and maintain tight tolerances.
