Job summary

Qualifications

• Reading and writing ability, basic math aptitude (algebra and trig)
• Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Speaking English
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Responsible for 100% first article casting layouts & delta layouts
• Quarterly equipment calibrations plant wide
• Identify all types of casting defects
• Assist in correcting non-conforming casting with scribe lines to fit blueprint tolerances for location and size
• Accurately use measuring tools such as height gauges, micrometers, verniers, and dial indicators
