Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Laundry Worker to operate laundry equipment and finish flatwork and tumble-dried items. You will clean and maintain the assigned areas and provide cleaned linen to the operations, following predetermined standards.

Responsibilities include sorting, operating carts and ironers, ensuring quality, labeling carts, and assisting with loading on the truck. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and ability to multi-task in a high-production setting.

Qualifications

• Previous high-production laundry experience preferred.
• Ability to work as a team member and maintain effective working relationships.
• Strong attention to detail is required.

Responsibilities

• Receives and sorts soiled linen into designated classifications.
• Operates automatic cart washer as required and removes linen carts from exit.
• Operates flatwork ironer and small piece folders; folds linen to standards; processes specialty items.
• Responsible for quality control and meeting customer-specific quality standards.
• Identify and label linen distribution carts; cover carts prior to transport.
• Fold and store linen to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Assist truck driver with loading linens and materials onto the truck.
• Inform lead or supervisor about par level or quantity of supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of the work area.
