Job summary

Ace Precision is seeking a laser operator to join our team in Wisconsin. You will set up and run laser systems, using sketches and travelers to ensure precise manufacturing of high-precision components. The role requires focus on quality and adherence to specifications.

You will perform in-process checks, diagnose issues, and deburr parts to meet finish criteria. Competitive pay, shift premium, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Use sketches, setup sheets, and job travelers to set up accurate laser operations.
• Launch and oversee laser cycles, quickly diagnosing malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Identify and escalate process variation, sequence gaps, and dimensional/finish issues.
• Perform in-process and final checks with micrometers, pin gages, and verniers to verify conformance.
• Deburr components to meet finish and performance criteria.
