Bell and Evans is seeking a team member to perform labeling and weight-check duties for product cases to ensure accurate boxing and shipment preparation. The role emphasizes safety and quality, with adherence to labeling standards and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities include operating labeling equipment, verifying data on labels against master case information, and maintaining a clean work area while assisting with palletizing to keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is preferred, but not required for this position.
• No formal education is required.

Responsibilities

• Measure the weight and label all product cases before boxing and shipment.
• Identify product in box, select correct box type, place on scale, and label with correct weight and ID.
• Ensure all information on the case label is accurate.
• Clean the scale at end of shift.
• Learn how to change label rolls and other label applications.
• Proactively address safety or quality concerns to ensure safe, quality products.
• Operate weight-price machine and verify accuracy of information on the printed label; ensure it matches product and master case label.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Assist in hand palletizing cases up to 50 lbs when lines are congested.
