Job summary

Hachette Book Group is seeking a Print Operator to operate industrial printers, print labels and packing lists, and ensure data integrity in a production environment. The role includes printer maintenance, loading printers, and occasionally covering for the main computer operator.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of Computer/Print Operator experience, can lift 10 lbs repeatedly, and demonstrates excellent attendance and work ethic.

Qualifications

• Must have one year of proven Computer Operator or Print Operator experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 10 lbs repetitively throughout the day.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial OCE printers to print labels and packing lists and decollating materials.
• Follow detailed procedures to maintain data integrity.
• Maintain operational logs and printer maintenance.
• Quality control of all materials from Print Room.
• May fill-in for the main computer operator as needed.
• Complete any remaining duties from the first shift.
