Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an Inventory Control & QC Inspector to support material receipt inspection and ensure accurate inventory records within the Process Instruments team.

This role requires at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as Navision; a hands-on, detail-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems beneficial, Navision a plus.
• Self-starter, taking ownership of tasks, a hands-on approach, and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all incoming receipts and inspection of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, assisting with regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Review and inspect all outgoing products to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
• This is a high-volume role that requires significant multitasking and self-prioritization to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of orders to our customers.
• Monthly revenue targets drive the direction and focus of the Operations Team.
• Maintains the QC System for all equipment calibrations
