Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a contract role in Madison, Wisconsin. The position focuses on building, testing, and calibrating complex mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies in a modern production environment.

Responsibilities include following detailed work instructions, performing precision assembly with hand tools and soldering equipment, and collaborating with the work cell to maintain schedules and uphold a positive culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, frequent lifting of 25 lbs, and constant lifting of 10 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and calibrate complex mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies to meet strict quality standards.
• Follow detailed technical work instructions for instrument assembly, material handling, and inventory verification.
• Utilize hand tools and soldering equipment to complete precision builds.
• Collaborate effectively with work cell team members to maintain production schedules and foster a positive culture.
