BD in Columbus, Nebraska is seeking an Inspection Technician to execute protocol‑directed inspection work for validation studies and production inspections. You will prepare equipment, collect samples, record data exactly as written, and escalate deviations to the Quality Engineer.

The role requires attention to detail, good documentation practices, and the ability to coordinate with the Quality Engineer and production teams to ensure timely and accurate inspection outcomes.

• Reading and following controlled protocols, inspection plans, drawings, specifications, and test methods.
• Good documentation practices and accurate raw-data recording.
• Sample identification, traceability, segregation, and status control.

Responsabilidades

• Execute dimensional, visual, functional, and attribute inspections per approved protocols or plans.
• Review protocol/plan before execution and confirm acceptance criteria and data-recording expectations.
• Prepare, identify, stage, and maintain traceability of samples for validation or inspection work.
• Ensure inspection equipment and references are available and calibrated before testing.
• Set up and operate measurement/inspection equipment per instructions and protocol.
• Record raw inspection data contemporaneously without altering acceptance criteria.
• Perform independent verification or repeat measurements when required.
• Escalate deviations, equipment issues, or out-of-acceptance observations to Quality Engineer.
• Assemble data sheets, instrument outputs, photos, and other evidence for technical review.
• Maintain inspection-area readiness and organized workspace.
• Coordinate timing of validation and inspection work with Quality Engineer and production contact.
