Job summary

Scientific Tool is seeking an Inspection Technician to perform inspections and quality checks on manufactured components to ensure they meet specifications and customer requirements. The role collaborates with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to address issues while maintaining inspection records.

The position requires reading engineering drawings, using precision measuring tools, and documenting results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in quality inspection preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to enter and maintain inspection data.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of machined and manufactured components.
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, workmanship, appearance, and conformance to drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, work instructions, and customer specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain required quality records.
• Identify potential quality trends and communicate recurring issues to the Quality team.
• Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures.
