Job summary

Q2 Artificial Lift Services is seeking an Injection Mold Technician/Operator to set up, run, troubleshoot, and maintain injection molding equipment. You will monitor processes to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, while supporting equipment reliability and adherence to company standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and preferred experience in pump/machine shops or related mechanical environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a pump shop, machine shop, or mechanical assembly environment preferred.
• Familiarity with pump components, downhole equipment, or precision mechanical parts is an asset.
• Previous injection molding setup and operation experience is highly preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment in a production environment is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of sucker rod manufacturing processes is an asset.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, troubleshoot, and process adjustments on injection molding presses and related equipment while ensuring safety and quality requirements.
• Monitor machine performance and process parameters to maintain product quality and optimize production efficiency.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, equipment inspections, and minor repairs on molding presses and related equipment.
• Diagnose equipment and process issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards through regular inspections and monitoring activities.
• Accurately complete and maintain production and quality documentation, including downtime, scrap, repairs, deviations, and production records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment.
• Support production requirements by assisting team members and performing additional duties as assigned.
• Follow all company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Report and document any nonconforming product in accordance with NCR policies and procedures.
