Dynomax Inc. in Wheeling, IL is seeking an Injection Mold Set-Up Technician to join our 1st Shift team. You will read specifications, set up molds and presses, and ensure proper equipment before start-up.

Qualifications

• Mold set-up and machine start-up procedures are required.
• Ability to measure and visually inspect products using gauges.
• Familiarity with automation systems and equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read specifications sheet to determine machine set-up and settings.
• Position, align, and secure molds and components onto machines.
• Set machine controls for specified pressure and curing time.
• Measure and inspect products for surface and dimensional defects using gauges.
• Assist with set-up and maintenance of auxiliary equipment.
• Obtain mold approval for first article molds.
• Work with automation systems and equipment.
