Job summary

Adenus Technologies in Smyrna, TN is seeking a shop-based Industrial Control Cabinet Wiring Technician to build and wire industrial control panels from electrical schematics, panel layouts, BOMs, and established shop standards. You will install and interconnect components, verify labels and ratings, and prepare back panels and enclosures for assembly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct experience building and wiring industrial electrical control panels.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and BOMs.
• Proficient in wire routing, labeling, stripping, crimping, ferrules/lugs, and terminations.
• Familiarity with UL508A shop practices or quality-focused panel environment.
• Comfort with hand tools and multimeters; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire industrial electrical control panels from schematics, layouts, BOMs, and standards.
• Install and interconnect wire duct, terminal blocks, relays, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and power supplies.
• Route, label, terminate wiring with consistent workmanship; verify labels and ratings.
• Perform QC steps: continuity, voltage checks, and assist with first power-up.
• Flag discrepancies and communicate build concerns to engineering and production.
