True Living and True Steel LLC is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator for high-end residential construction. You will contribute to site preparation, excavation, grading, and material handling on precision-driven projects where mistakes are costly and attention to detail is paramount.

The role requires proven equipment operation experience on residential or commercial builds, the ability to read site plans, maintain a clean and safe job site, and effective collaboration with supervisors

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in residential, commercial, or similar construction environments.
• Ability to envision a site before it begins and understand how grades tie together.
• Strong attention to detail; small errors become big problems later.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, skid steers, loaders) with precision and care.
• Execute site prep, grading, trenching, and backfilling to plan and specification.
• Read and interpret site plans, elevations, and layout requirements.
• Work closely with site supervisors and project managers to maintain workflow and timelines.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and report issues proactively.
• Uphold high standards for site cleanliness, safety, and organization.
• Anticipate problems and communicate early to avoid delays or rework.
