Job summary

Caterpillar Mapleton Seals is seeking a Grinding Specialist to operate grinding machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. The role offers 2nd and 3rd shift options with a $1.00/hour premium for 3rd shift and 40 hours per week with potential overtime.

Responsibilities include setting up grinders, producing parts within tolerances, adjusting equipment as needed, and inspecting finished products for quality. Strong manufacturing basics and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Good communication skills and strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to work alone and with a team, managing time effectively.
