Job summary

DWK Life Sciences GmbH in Vineland, NJ is seeking a Glass Inspector to check glass products for defects during production and ensure they meet quality standards. The role involves standing, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds, following inspection procedures and using PPE to maintain safe operations.

As a full-time hourly position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will document inspection results, communicate issues to the production team, and help ensure only compliant products

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow work instructions and established quality procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Inspect glass products for scratches, chips, cracks, bubbles, distortion, and other visible defects.
• Verify that glass meets required quality standards and customer specifications.
• Identify and separate products that do not meet quality requirements.
• Communicate quality concerns or recurring defects to production leads and supervisors.
• Complete inspection records and other required quality documentation accurately.
• Handle glass carefully and follow proper procedures to prevent damage or injury.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Work closely with production team members to help maintain consistent product quality.
• Follow established inspection procedures and work instructions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support production and quality operations.
