Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Machine Operator GL3 in Mason, OH. The role starts at $20 per hour and requires precision adjustments, basic troubleshooting, and program adjustments to meet production standards.

This position acts as a final quality checkpoint before products reach customers, with emphasis on safety and GMP compliance. The job includes loading/unloading, operating pallet jack and forklift, and adhering to company safety rules.

Qualifications

Must have General Production 2 qualification.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
2+ years’ production industry experience preferred.
Must understand and comply with company, plant, and safety rules/policies.
Basic understanding of production and procedures.
Ability to use knives, saws, and a variety of machinery.
Ability to lift, load, cut and package product.

Responsibilities

Prepare work area for pre- and post-operational activities.
Load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment and conveyors.
Monitor production lines, identify issues, replenish packaging materials as necessary.
Sort, weigh, wrap, label, verify or measure product to meet specifications.
Inspect and remove defective products and packaging materials from the process.
Arrive at workstation prepared to perform tasks on schedule and complete work.
