The role requires setting up and operating gear cutting and grinding equipment to fabricate gears and splines with tight tolerances, and involves testing finished parts to verify accuracy. Candidate should have several years of related experience and be prepared to contribute to the development of new gear cutting processes in a fast-paced manufacturing

Formación

• Three years experience as a Gear Cutter and Grinder plus two years of related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Sets up and operates gear manufacturing equipment to produce gears and splines.
• Maintains extremely close tolerances in setups and work.
• Assists in development of new gears and gear cutting processes.
• Tests and checks gears using gear testing and checking machines.
• Performs grinding on case hardened surfaces.
