Job summary

Quad/Graphics’ Lufkin plant is seeking a part-time forklift operator to identify, move, and process products across the manufacturing floor. You will operate powered industrial equipment, service production machines, and support general material handling.

You will load/unload, verify counts, manage packaging choices, and work with RF-driven systems to ensure correct trailers are loaded and loads are balanced.

Qualifications

• Experience operating powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to read shipping and packaging requirements.
• Familiarity with warehouse layouts and outbound packaging.

Responsibilities

• Identify and deliver product to machines accurately and efficiently.
• Load/unload and verify shipment counts, noting shortages or damage.
• Follow warehousing layouts and HDSS system usage.
• Handle WIP, Newsstand, Bulk, and Mail skids; select packaging types.
• Ensure correct trailer loading by RF driver matching and load distribution.
• Know how to fix and maintain automated packaging and systems.
